Dr Khouzama Knio is currently working on the
biology, behavior and ecology of flower head
infesting tephritids (fruit flies) associated
with thistles in Lebanon. She has conducted a
survey on the mosquito species of Lebanon and
tried selected essential oils extracted from
herbs as larvicides against the seashore
mosquito larvae. She is also interested in
taxonomy and biodiversity studies. |
