Participate with IBSAR: Internship and Volunteering Programs

Conservation of Lebanon’s natural and cultural heritage begins with individual and collective participation from people who care about nature and their environment. IBSAR is always looking for enthusiastic individuals who share the same passion of making a positive difference in the global ecological paradigm we face. You can help make this difference through local participation in projects, programs and initiatives geared towards protecting nature and improving the livelihoods of those in need.
Volunteering with IBSAR:

Today, a strong movement is emerging that is beginning to focus more on preserving nature and natural resources, thus reducing waste and pollution in our environment. There is a greater need to develop ways to preserve nature and use its resources in sustainable ways in order for society to have a sustainable future. The world is relying on people coming from all walks of life and educational backgrounds to help bring societies back to nature.

IBSAR would like you to seize the opportunity to engage in a number of our nature-based activities to protect and promote Lebanon’s ecological, cultural and social heritage. IBSAR is providing interested young people with the opportunity to work on the various community outreach (grassroots and community-focused) conservation and research projects. Volunteers can choose to work on short-term projects during the summer months or on-going projects throughout the year.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help with our ‘Seeds of Hope, Trees for Tomorrow’ campaign by helping us raise funds for our projects and activities here in our office as well as working on a number of tasks at our nursery in the Beqaa. Many of our activities also involve building awareness through knowledge sharing and developing innovative ideas to help manage natural resources and preserve our natural heritage. Come join us today!
